Saturday 18th was our final volunteers' workday of 2025, and we celebrated in party mood. After a morning tidying the site the 'Knuckle' ready for winter, all fourteen volunteers gathered for a coffee and update on progress made in 2025. We celebrated the establishment of the Group as a CIO, noted progress on negotiating a lease from Bristol City Council, and shared fund-raising plans. There was excitement that, after twelve years of perseverance, we now have a credible plan to get the Swivel Bridge back in operation by its 180th anniversary in 2029 !
